Look, we thought that it was obvious that cats are delinquents. We thought that every cat owner already knew that. We thought that when cat owners hear a strange noise around the house or see something out of place, they instantly assume that it was their kitty criminal doing its kitty cat crimes. But apparently not. Apparently, not everyone got the memo that cats are criminals, and those people… had to learn about it the hard way.

Eventually, you learn though. You learn that cats are mischievous hooligans. And this couple definitely learned it the hard way. The husband definitely did. It's hard, constantly being blamed for actions you did not take, crimes you did not commit. It's hard to defend yourself, because "if it's not me, which it isn't, and it's not you, then who could it be? The cat?!" Yes. Yes, it is indeed the cat, and she is not ashamed about it.

    Oh, we can so imagine the fights. We can imagine the annoyance of this wife as she kept finding socks all over the place. We can imagine how tired this husband was of being falsely accused of sock mischief that he had nothing to do with. And the cat is just there, off to the side, enjoying the fruits of her chaotic labor.
